Jodi Ettenberg spent more than five years as a corporate lawyer in New York. Tired of her job and overwhelmed by the stresses of the industry, Jodi decided to quit her job and take the life of a traveler. Originally, her plan was to travel for a year and look for work thereafter. Today, she’s living the life of a traveler for six years. Jodi supports herself financially by writing freelance and doing consultation jobs in social media. Jodi is not planning to go back to the business of law anytime soon, reasoning that what she’s doing now is more fun.

2. Liz Calson
Liz worked as an English teacher in Spain for several years. It was during this time that she discovered her love for travel. However, due to uncontrollable circumstances, she transferred to Washington DC and worked in a dead-end office job. Soon, Liz realized that a career that involves sitting for hours behind a desk, having quarterly meetings, and wearing uniforms isn’t for her. Her work was actually making her unhappy.

Liz decided she had enough. She quit her job, perfected her English writing, and saved up to travel. Since then, she has been on the road. However, after being laid off from his job several years ago, he decided to pack up his bags and travel the world. After all, he has nothing to lose. His friends, family members, and relatives expressed uncertainty toward his plan, but Robert was steadfast. Today, Robert travelled around the world, visiting 50 countries for five years. He supported herself through his travel blog that is made to inspire, entertain, inform, and empower people who wish to live the corporate world to embrace the world of adventure.

Megan’s journey started her life as a globetrotter after a devastating heartbreak. After deciding to heal herself by traveling around the world, she worked hard, saved money, and got on a jet plane. Today, she has been to Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She’s now planning to visit Central America.
